Riding Team Represent Hertfordshire at National Championships
On 22nd April the 91ÖÆƬ³§ riding team, made up of Rebecca Woolford, Florence Miller, Holly Palmer Shaw and Mia O’Brien, took part in the National Schools County Championships. They had qualified to represent Hertfordshire and were competing against teams from over 30 other counties, from Durham in the north to Kent in the south, and most counties in between. Although they weren’t placed, the girls rode extremely well round two challenging showjumping courses and their ponies looked very smart with their new 91ÖÆƬ³§ embroidered saddle cloths. The next competition is at the end of May, when Florence and Holly have also qualified for the ‘Eventer Challenge Final’. Congratulations to all the girls and thanks to Mrs Fern for accompanying and co-ordinating the team.
