Business students pitch ideas at National Enterprise Competition

On Friday 16th March, judges from the Ryman National Enterprise Challenge visited St Clement Danes School to hear 110 Year 10 Business students pitching their ideas.

This year's challenge was for teams to develop and market a product for the back to school market. The winning team consisted of team members - Sara John, Lily Skourides, Louis Morgan, Chris Ayyildiz, Poppy Cantwell and Will Pearman with their product - a "School Survival Kit". The team will now go through to the national finals, which will be held in Telford in July. The overall winning team of the National Enterprise Challenge will have their product launched in the shops by Theo Paphitis, who is the overall judge of the competition.

The challenge is the largest schools' enterprise challenge in the UK. Since launching in 2013 it has been delivered to over 140,000 young people from over 200 schools from across the UK. The programme has received high profile support from entrepreneurs such as Theo Paphitis, Lord Sugar and a large number of high profile organisations, including Staffordshire University.

We wish the team every success in July, and well done to all the students who took part in the challenge.
