Indoor Athletes Shine

On Tuesday 12th March, Year 7s and 8s took part in an athletics competition. It was held at the Royal Masonic School in Rickmansworth. Competing against six other schools, students competed in both ‘track’ and ‘field’ races. With Year 7 girls running first, St Clement Danes talent started to shine through. Most girls took places in the top three in running while the boys were jumping and throwing in the field events. The students' energy and enthusiasm started to grow as more competed. Cheering from the sideline, St Clement Danes were very successful. The final results were as follows:

Year 7 boys: 1st place

Year 7 girls: 2nd place

Year 8 boys: Joint 2nd place

Year 8 girls: 3rd place

The Year 7 boys will now compete at the County Finals at Wodson Park next Tuesday.
